Everybody kept telling me how important it was to keep updating WordPress to the latest version.

But I got lazy and paid the price

This blog (or rather feint.me/travel) was hacked due to a security vulnerability found in WordPress.

Let me tell you – trying to get rid of malware is a bitch and in the end I hired an outside firm to get rid of it for me.

So don’t be lazy like me – make sure your blog is kept updated, or as suggested to me, use a hosted platform.
